Wind Turbine Blade
We were up this morning at
5:45am to have showers and breakfast and be away at 6:45am to make our slow way
to the bus stop at the Collie Visitor Centre. From there we took a TransWA bus
to Bunbury. We had to pull over just out of Allanson for a wide load. There
were six pilot vehicles in front, a police escort, two trucks each carrying a
wind turbine blade and a rear pilot vehicle. It took ages for each truck with a
wind turbine blade to pass.
We arrived in Bunbury just after 8:30am. I
phoned and booked a physio appointment in Albany for tomorrow morning. The bus
from Bunbury to Albany left Bunbury at midday. We arrived in Albany just before
6pm. Our lovely friend’s family member picked us up from the bus station and
drive us to the Tasman Holiday Parks Albany where we have set up our tent for
the night.
