Hamersley Beach Exploring and Hopetoun
This morning we had a slow start to the day. We decided to walk down to Hamersley Beach
(which we had been to on yesterday’s walk) and spend some time investigating
the shells and rock pools. We got to see
several small fish and some quite large crabs as well as a variety of sea
plants. It was interesting watching the
way the waves fought their way into the different rock pools.
After a few hours, we had a swim and then
walked back to the van. In the
afternoon, we drove to Cave Point and then into Hopetoun to explore.
Then back to the van for a rest.
