Rest Day
Today was a rest and recovery day – the weather was
miserable and the car needed servicing so we spent the day at the caravan park. We started the day with a treat breakfast of
croissants, sausages and eggs as an early anniversary treat for Drew and
I. Drew took the car in for its 200
000km service, which took the entire day and cost an amount that matched. Hayden and I had a very, very long game of
Monopoly – which he has been asking for for ages – he ended up conceding, but
it took a while! Most of the afternoon
was spent reading books in our sleeping bags – it is like a cold, wet winter’s
day here, in the middle of December!
