Bibbulmun Food Drops - Part 1

First up today was the post office to purchase prepaid satchels for posting our “town” items along the track. We then drove to Dwellingup Visitor Information Centre to deposit our first drop box. They have a fantastic setup up for Bibbulmun hikers and Munda Biddi riders with toilets, hot showers and laundry facilities.  Dwellingup Visitor Centre

After lunch in the park, our next stop was Collie Visitor Information Centre for our second drop box. Again, very helpful staff. Collie Visitor Centre

Then on to Donnelly River Village for drop box number three. The staff here were very informative about what to do when we arrive on our hike and had a brochure with our options and prices. The roads to and from Donnelly River Village were dirt roads of various quality. It was difficult driving due to the dappled light making it difficult to judge what was a pothole and what was shadow.   Donnelly River Village
