Week 12 from Hayden

Week 12 from Hayden (10 yo boy)

03/09/16

Today we went to Zebedee Springs and Sam and I built two massive dams.  The pool we dammed was big.  I said bye to Sam and we drove to Jackaroo’s waterhole.  We went fishing and caught a big black bream.

Today we packed up and drove to Home Valley.  We did some walks.

05/09/16

Today we did some more walks.  Then we played hit each other in the head with the ball in the pool – 10 points for head, 2 points for near, 1 point for next to person in the water – Scores Mum 12 points, Dad 3 points, Hayden 0 points.

Today we drove from Home Valley to Mt Elizabeth Station.  The road was corrugated.

Today we did a walk and then we drove from Mt Elizabeth Station to Barnett River Gorge free campsite.

08/09/16

Today we packed up and drove to Manning Gorge.  There we did the walk, which included a boat you pulled along a rope.  We saw Sam (Turnbull) again.

09/09/16

Today we woke up early and packed down.  Before we left Sam and I built a massive sand castle and pulled 11 people across on the boat.  Then we left and drove to Charnley River Wilderness Camp, we drove to Donkey Springs!!
