Manning Gorge, Gibb River Road
We arrived this morning at Mt Barnett Roadhouse just after
opening time. We paid for a night’s
camping at Manning Gorge and filled up with drinking water, and then headed
into the camping area. https://www.thegibbriverroad.com/mount_barnett_roadhouse https://www.kimberleyaustralia.com/manning-gorge.html https://www.westernaustralia.com/en/Attraction/Manning_Gorge/56b2669ed5f1565045da9a82#/
After setting up, we headed down to the river. At the river, you cross it by pulling a boat across on a rope while bailing out the water. We then walked to Manning Falls. Once again, it was beautiful. We had a swim and morning tea and a swim. We eventually headed back to camp as we were all keen for lunch. On arrival back at camp, our friends from El Questro had arrived so we had a quick chat before lunch. After lunch Hayden did some schoolwork, before we all headed to the swimming hole (near the boat) with the Turnbull’s.
