We were a bit slow to get going this morning, but we made it
to Alice around 9:30 am. The city is larger and nicer than I expected. We
checked into a van park for 2 nights, and hit the town to visit the tourist
information centre and Woolworths. I stayed with the van to rest and recover a
bit, and Hayden and Tracy headed out to Aviation museum and to the Pioneer
Womens Hall of Fame. It is only getting to 23 degrees Celsius but it is a
strong sun.
