Little Lagoon, Eagle Bluff, Ocean Park Aquarium and Denham;
Shark Bay World Heritage Area
This morning we started the day with a walk along the shores of Little Lagoon. https://www.westernaustralia.com/en/Attraction/Little_Lagoon/56b26727d5f1565045daa618 This lagoon is very pretty, clear, blue water with a narrow creek joining it to the ocean – unfortunately my photographs do not do this justice as I could not capture the hole lagoon with my wide-angle lens. From here, we drove south to Eagle Bluff, where we could look out over the seagrass meadows and shallow sandbanks, as well as along the coastline. https://trailswa.com.au/trails/eagle-bluff-boardwalk-shark-bay/print On a less windy day I am sure the ocean wildlife viewing from here would be amazing.
Ocean Park Aquarium was our next destination. https://oceanpark.com.au/ We saw green sea turtles, loggerhead turtles,
various types of rays, fish, nervous sharks and lemon sharks. There was an informative talk by a marine
biologist as she went from one area to another, with a complete cycle taking a
bit over an hour.
After lunch we walked around Denham and took Hayden to an amazing park on the foreshore. https://www.waholidayguide.com.au/explore-wa/coral-coast-western-australia/coral-coast-region-guide/denham-western-australia

relaxing and making sure everything is ready for a prompt departure in the
morning.
