Hamelin Stromatolites, Shell Bay and Denham; Shark Bay World Heritage Area

After packing down we drove to Hamelin to investigate the stromatolites – odd but interesting.https://parks.dpaw.wa.gov.au/site/hamelin-pool-stromatolites

We then went to Shell Beach – the entire beach is made of one type of shell in various states of crushing – quite amazing to see.  The water is incredibly clear and green – beautiful!
After a picnic lunch, we headed to Denham, to stay at Denham Seaside Tourist Village – the western most caravan park in Australia. https://sharkbay.com.au/ After setting up, we booked a sailing tour for tomorrow and then headed to the Artesian Spa tub at Francois Peron National Park.  The water was amazingly hot – it took a while to get in – but it felt great once we were in.  We soaked for a while and my whole body felt so nice afterwards. https://parks.dpaw.wa.gov.au/park/francois-peron
