Noosa National Park - Headland Section

Another Sunshine Coast local hike today. We parked in Noosa Heads and walked to the National Park as there is rarely any car parks free in or near Noosa National Park entrance.

We began with the Tanglewood Walk. This normally allows you to link up to Hell's Gates but unfortunately this area was closed for work.

The Coastal Walk took use back along the coastline towards the Noosa entrance to the National Park. It was impressive to see the amount of fresh water pouring out of the hillside from the recent heavy rain. The erosion around the roots of the trees was amazing, literally the only thing holding the hillside together was the fine network of roots.

Last up was the Noosa Hill walk.  This states there are limited views, and this is certainly true but there are some views on the way up and it is a nice walk through the bush.

Noosa National Park was full of people, all the tracks we used and the walk to and from parking in Noosa Heads were very popular with plenty of people out and about enjoying a reprieve from the rain.
