18 September 2017 - Water Adventures in Hervey Bay
This morning we left early and drove to Hervey Bay's Whale Bay Marina. We were fitted out with snorkel gear and boarded the glass bottomed boat "Milbi" (local indigenous word for turtle). We saw a variety of wildlife and snorkelled over coral. We stopped at Round Island (which is triangular in shape) to explore. The variety of plant forms, landscape and small marine life was fascinating - great if your child is an investigator (mine most definitely is)! We returned to the marina at the end of our satisfying adventure.www.herveybayecomarinetours.com.au/

Last stop for the day was "Wetside" waterpark and a short walk.
What a great day!
